This week on New Mexico in Focus, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at Meow Wolf’s interactive exhibition in Santa Fe. The House of Eternal Return features the work of dozens of local artists. Visitors have the chance to explore the exhibit and interpret their own story from the experience. We meet some of the people who created the project and local officials who are closely watching how this new business model for an art project might have a greater impact on the local economy.<\/p>\n

Also this week, correspondent Gwyneth Doland checks in with some of the New Mexico delegates from last week’s Democratic National Convention and correspondent Megan Kamerick examines a new effort to address heroin and opiate addiction in Rio Arriba County. New Mexico PBS is part of a pilot project with the Solutions Journalism Network<\/a> that aims to increase coverage of solutions-oriented reporting in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado.<\/p>\n

Host Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists discuss a court ruling this week on the controversial Albuquerque Rapid Transit project down Central Avenue and the current state budget shortfall. They also look at a new report that showed the state is not spending money set aside for crucial water projects.<\/p>\n
