The paper filed the request under the state<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rld.state.nm.us\/ipra_requests.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Inspection\u00a0of Public Records Act<\/a> (IPRA).<\/p>\n<p>APS argues the lesson plans are intellectual property and\u00a0therefore\u00a0exempt from IPRA requests as trade secrets.<\/p>\n<p>Our line panelists react to this news story.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Episode 833 | APS Lesson Plans Public Records?\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XqI8UvKcSqo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A proposal to cap interest rates on storefront loans, like title loans, is currently stalled this legislative session.
