That has put an incredible&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abqjournal.com\/2457678\/more-than-half-of-nm-hospitals-report-staffing-shortages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">strain on our healthcare<\/a>&nbsp;and public health systems \u2013 and the people who work in those fields. Today on #YNMG we discuss the many nursing and public health bills still in front of lawmakers with only about a day left before this session\u2019s end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KUNM public health reporter&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kunm.org\/people\/jered-ebenreck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jered Ebenreck<\/a>&nbsp;has been following New Mexico\u2019s nursing shortage and other public health news for months and joins us today to check in at what has become the eleventh hour for legislation that hasn\u2019t been passed out of committees yet.
