U.S. Senator Tom Udall

December 4, 2020 – Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998 and to the Senate a decade later, Tom Udall has spent much of his career focused on tribal and environmental issues. In a conversation with correspondent Laura Paskus, Udall talks about climate change and how to tackle it, green energy, and how four years of the Trump administration’s aggressive rollback of environment policies will continue to affect New Mexico’s lands, waters and communities. Addressing rumors that the Biden administration was considering him as U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary, Udall also talks about the importance of that job, which his father the late Stewart Udall held during the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
