Awakening in Taos, narrated by Academy-Award nominee Ali MacGraw, tells the story of Mabel Dodge Luhan, an influential woman 100 years ahead of her time, who searches for love, freedom and spiritual transformation. The award-winning documentary traces her evolution as a writer, salon hostess, art patroness, defender of Native American and women’s rights, and resident of New Mexico.


The 60-minute screening will be followed by a discussion with writer/director Mark Gordon.
