Carly Granger

"Carly Granger graduated Cum Laude with a B. A. in Film from The University of New Mexico’s Cinematic Arts Program in 2015, focusing primarily on conservation documentary. Having spent 4 years at New Mexico PBS while attending college, it became clear to her that she wanted to pursue a career in media. Upon graduation, she jumped right into the New Mexico film industry with full force, concentrating primarily on production & set design. It was during this time Carly worked under several award winning production designers such as Beth Rubino and Kevin Kavanaugh. Navigating her way through the industry, she found herself working on various features and television programs such as Longmire, Sicario 2: Soldado, Only the Brave and Tremors. In 2017, Carly had the opportunity to go back to her roots in outdoor driven media and accepted the position of Digital Media Coordinator at Taos Ski Valley where she currently works. When she isn’t immersed in the media world, Carly enjoys snowboarding, fishing, camping, mountain biking, bluegrass music and hanging with her dog, Frank. 'New Mexico PBS taught me to admire film production on a deeper level that I had previously thought not possible. It was the hands-on instruction that was embedded in me during my time there that propelled my career upon graduating. I can also attest to the incredible high school experience that I had at Media Arts Collaborative Charter School. It provided a strong platform for my future endeavors in media.'”
