The Line: The Future Of Amtrak In The West

April 21, 2017 – President Trump’s proposed budget does not include funding to continue Amtrak service in many parts of the country, including New Mexico. Trains are still an affordable way for many families to travel long distances. Should the government continue to subsidize the cost of long-distance rail service?
