The Line: Recruiting Doctors To Rural New Mexico

July 28, 2017 – There’s a shortage of doctors in New Mexico. Older doctors, especially in small towns, often postpone retirement until they can find replacements – and finding those replacements isn’t easy. What can medical school programs and health group incentives do to recruit physicians to our state, especially to rural communities? The Line explores options and possible solutions this week.
