Faculty and students from the Russian program at UNM discuss how they are responding to current events in the classroom. Plus Gene Grant and The Line Panel

This week on New Mexico in Focus, correspondent Gwyneth Doland looks at the undergraduate program in Russian language and culture at the University of New Mexico, where students can prepare for jobs that require a specialized knowledge of Russia.  She sits down with students and instructors to hear how they are navigating new questions about the part of the world they study.

And Gene Grant and the Line opinion panelists debate several top stories in the news, including tax proposals and defeats, the end of the short-lived WisePies era at The Pit, and a look at the crowded field of candidates for the next mayor of Albuquerque.
