Albuquerque artist Amie Rangel documents the urban landscape to raise awareness of how we live.

“It starts to bring up how our infrastructure changes — essential things, like electricity or water or temperature control in our homes — these are all things that we feel like we need to survive.”

Also on the program:

The Women+Film VOICES film festival in Denver, Colorado, showcases the thought-provoking stories and perspectives of women.
“It’s so important to have a woman’s voice in the storytelling and the world. I mean, over half of the population is women; we want to hear our stories told.”

Artist Christopher Sperandio takes his creative space, a mobile artist residency, on the road.
“The exhibitions that we’re doing are unlike normal, standard gallery museum exhibitions. The artists’ process is a big part of the exhibition.”

Metalsmith and jewelry designer Jera Rose Petal Lodge fuses steel and silver into wearable art.
“I think it’s really wonderful to help broaden what people’s definition of jewelry is.”

Sorry this is delayed, but work’s been rather crazy these days. Thanks for sharing your awesome news — You never cease to amaze me as to your creativity and G-d given gifts, as well as, your natural abilities and motivation to be involved in such interesting projects.
Even though we’re miles apart, you’re in my thoughts 🙂
Take Care, and I’ll be in touch — Hi to Matthew, too!
