Donate Your Art & Antiques To Benefit “NM PBS Arts & Education Endowment”

Have you loved that certain piece of art or furniture, but are now willing to let it go / move it on to a new home to an appreciative new owner that will love it?

Or, maybe you are looking for a mid-year tax write-off? Now is your chance!

New Mexico PBS is accepting donations for two auctions to be held in Albuquerque in August, to benefit the year-old NM PBS Arts & Education Endowment, permanently held at the Albuquerque Community foundation.

While New Mexico PBS is grateful for all of your art donations, the following items are actively being sought:

  • PRE 1930’S WPA FURNITURE
  • SPANISH COLONIAL IRON
  • PUEBLO POTTERY
  • NAVAJO WEAVINGS
  • VINTAGE JEWELRY
  • APACHE BASKETS
  • WESTERN ART
  • FINE ART
  • NEW MEXICO ANTIQUES

When Will These Shows Take Place?
To aid in building the NM PBS Arts & Education Endowment, KNME-TV / New Mexico PBS has once again partnered with the Great Southwestern Antique Show, in Albuquerque (August 7 – 11) http://greatsouthwesternantiqueshow.com and Objects Of Art Santa Fe (August 14 – 17) http://objectsofartsantafe.com

Preview/Opening night proceeds (Aug. 8 & 14) from BOTH shows will help build this fund – with support through attendance.

The 16th Annual Great Southwestern Antique Show in Albuquerque has added a new element this year, with Live Auctions (Thursday, Aug. 7 and Monday, Aug. 11).
Come out, have fun, find a treasure, and support YOUR New Mexico PBS station.
