Hey Kids in K-3rd Grade: Enter the PBSKids Writing Contest! Write an amazing story and send it to New Mexico PBS

  • Every child who enters will receive a Certificate of Appreciation!
  • 12 Winners will be chosen and awarded prizes at Award Ceremony held at KNME Studio in May 2015!
  • A 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Winner will be chosen for each grade level!
  • Grand Prize winners will go to the national writing contest for a chance to win a lap top or tablet!
  • Deadline: March 31, 2015

New Mexico PBS is once again encouraging early elementary-aged students to stretch their creative wings by hosting the PBS KIDS Writers Contest in Albuquerque. For more than 15 years thousands of kids in grades K-3 have participated in this annual contest.

Locally, New Mexico PBS / KNME-TV has been hosting the contest since 2001, and over 2000 children from New Mexico have participated. NM PBS expects this to be another great year for the NEW MEXICO PBS / PBS KIDS Writers Contest.
